Take me to the jobs!Information for Recruiters
IIE at Cal is the only student group dedicated to representing all Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) students at UC Berkeley. In addition, we target Operations Research and Management Science (ORMS) and undeclared students to participate in our events. We also recruit students who have expressed interest in transferring into the IEOR department or minoring in IEOR.
IIE at Cal stays in contact with hundreds of IEOR and ORMS students, and boasts a contact list that includes dozens of students who are not majoring in IEOR. Many of those students are undeclared or studying a related subject, but are certainly interested in IEOR. There are many IEOR students at UC Berkeley who want to learn about job and internship opportunities, and we’re the organization to bring them to recruiters.
One of the services that IIE at Cal offers is the collection and compilation of résumés from UC Berkeley students in the IEOR and ORMS majors. These résumés are circulated to firms on request who are looking to hire students for IEOR-related jobs and internships. In the past, this has been one of the most effective means for corporate recruiters to connect with competent, experienced students who are looking to start their careers with your company. To request a copy of the résumé book please contact our Corporate Relations Officers at corporaterelations@ieor.org.
IIE also sponsors corporate infosessions throughout the year open to studens of all majors at UC Berkeley. To organize an infosession with IIE, please contact our Corporate Relations Officers at corporaterelations@ieor.org. All companies that work with IIE in organizing infosessions will also receive a copy of the résumé book.
